Join Sarah at Mindful Living Collective in the Spring Arts District for a 2hr experience to find your creative flow.
We’ll start with a guided Yoga Nidra session (very minimal movement, deep relaxation, restful meditation.)
Welcoming rest and reflection sets the tone for our watercolor workshop, where you'll learn essential tips and techniques before creating your own abstract paintings.
Art supplies are provided. No prior experience in yoga or art is needed; just wear comfortable clothing and come ready to explore. You’ll leave feeling grounded and empowered, with valuable painting skills and several abstract creations to take home.

It is an ancient practice that is called many things - often “the yoga of sleep” or “conscious rest.” My favorite description is this one from my teacher Tracee Stanley: “The practice moves our awareness from the most gross aspect of ourselves - the physical body - into awareness of the subtle body, and eventually into a sense of dissolving into spaciousness.” If you haven’t practiced yoga nidra before, please know that it won’t feel like a workout, as we will spend the majority of our yoga nidra session in a form of shavasana. Some light stretching will be offered.

Your most comfortable clothing! Please keep in mind we will be sitting and laying on the ground during our yoga nidra session, doing some light movement, and there is a small but slight risk of stains with painting of any kind.

A journal & your favorite pen to write with are great. All art supplies are provided for your use during the workshop.
Anything that supports you getting cozy - comfortable socks, a favorite meditation pillow - all are encouraged!

Please arrive on time! As our yoga nidra session is near the start of the workshop, we will be looking to create a closed community container. If you arrive more than 10 mins late, we may not be able to allow you to enter. This is to create a comfortable, safe, and uninterrupted experience for guests in the yoga nidra session.
Cancellations close to the event (less than 24hrs) will not be refunded, but we understand life happens - if something comes up and you need to cancel, feel free to send us an email!
